One of two winterized hives

This is year we have two hives remaining. We are in a good position this year as all the other years (5) our bees have died. I retired from the day job in May and in two months, I was diagnosed with cancer. That is the reason I haven’t posted for months. It could also be the reason the bees are doing so well! Maybe the key is to leave them alone.  (since I was too weak to do anything anyway..) Give us a few months and time will tell!
